Kindness
In Reception Class, our Gospel Value is 'Kindness.' This means that we aim to live demonstrating this value and promote kindness throughout our school. To help to do this we have learnt about Pope Francis and helped other classes in our school learn about him through our assembly that we presented.
We have shown kindness this term by discussing what we are grateful for in our own lives and collecting for those less fortunate by donating food.
This Spring term we enjoyed planning, practising and then presenting a 'Kindness' assembly to our friends in school. We then invited in our parents to share with them too. We talked about what kindness means to us and loved performing a 'Song of Kindness.'
Taking inspiration from Mother Teresa who showed great kindness, our message from our assembly was to make sure we all "do everything we do with love."
