                                       Two Full Time KS2 Teachers

 

As part of Plymouth CAST, St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is looking to appoint two talented and enthusiastic teachers from September 2022. These are permanent full-time appointments.

We welcome applications from teachers at any stage of their career, however completion of the ECT year is preferable. We are looking for teachers who can demonstrate outstanding practice. The successful applicants will deliver high quality teaching, ensuring that pupils achieve an excellent level of development within a supportive and friendly setting.

Our children are well behaved and enthusiastic and the school has been rated as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in 2009. Our SATS results have been consistently good.

  • have a clear understanding of the requirements, pedagogy and expectations of teaching at Key Stage 2 and a knowledge of the age expectations for those year groups (please state which key Stage your experience and training in your supporting statement)
  • have a secure understanding of the National Curriculum and end of Key Stage assessment procedures
  • have excellent behaviour management
  • have the ability to work as a committed team member
  • have excellent organisational skills.

TEACHING ASSISTANT VACANCY

 

The Governors of St Mary’s, Falmouth are seeking to appoint a positive and inspiring Teaching Assistant for June 2022. They are keen to accommodate the best candidates who will make a positive impact on our school and standards. Applicants with experience are encouraged to apply.
